Fitting Guide
Start with your most comfortable (not too old as they stretch with use), well fitting bra as a guide. Take a good look, does it fit snug around your body if so the back size is right (this is the number). If it rides up at all you will need to drop a back size, for example from a 36 to a 34. Once you have your back size you are half way there.
Next look at the cups. Your breasts should be enclosed in the cups, nothing bulging out at the sides or on top. If this is what you see you need to increase the cup size (this is the letter), for example from an E to an F. An underwired bra should fit with the wire flat against your rib cage. Take your time-you now have your bra size.
It's worth pointing out that the most common problem is wearing a bra that has a back size too big and a cup size too small. So don't be surprised, it is worth the trouble to get the right fit as a well fitting bra makes you feel great.
Fit new bras on the loosest hook, you can then tighten it when you have worn it a few times.
Not all bras are the same, different brands and styles will vary even if they are the same size. You may need a totally different size than the bra you are wearing.
If buying a maternity bra try to leave it to the 37th week of your pregnancy or after as your boobs will increase in size. Do remember that you will also need room for a breast pad.
We recommend you take a little extra time and wash your bra by hand as this helps to keep it looking and feeling like new for longer. Putting wired bras in the washing machine can damage your machine.
